Hi there, I have a problem with the Touch's scanner: it always finds new files - but there are no new files. This is what happens: With every restart or firmware update the scanning process starts as desired.
Number of files found: 14000 (which is correct) Number of new files which have to be scanned: 903 This is wrong as no new files have been added since last reboot. If I transfer 10 new songs to the touch via windows network, it discovers 913 new files. A restart later it's 903 files again. So every time it restarts it rescans those 903 files which is a little annoying. I'm on the latest beta firmware but this problem persists since several 7.x releases. I'm not really sure when it started though. The drive connected is ext formatted. Only mp3, flac and jpg artwork files are present, the audio files are all tagged carefully via mp3tag. Any ideas of what might cause the permanent reindexing of those files? I'm a noob when it comes to SSH but is there any additional info I can provide?
