can't really answer your question (although depending on tags, you could
do something with the custom scan/browse plugins).

do your music files have tags (album, artist, etc.). If so, I'd
probably include identifying info in the Album name. I do this with the
various versions I have of the Beatles (original CD release, Mono box
set, Stereo box set).  mp3tag is a very good tagging program (and can
automatically pickup info from file name/directory name with the file >
tag menu item). mp3tag does handle many other file types other than just
mp3 of course....

If you don't have tags and only use browse music folder, you'll NOT be
using 99% of the capabilities of the SB system.
