i'm very pleased with ipeng on my iphone, ipengHD on ipad, and squeezepad on ipad. And the built in "playback" function also allows my iphones/ipad to function as a SB PLAYER as well as a CONTROLLER (when used in my home wifi network). probably some cheap used ipad1 and ipad2 units coming for sale soon with the release of ipad3
