Using the MUSICAL FIDELITY - M1DAC A DIGITAL CONVERTER for expostion purposes http://www.musicdirect.com/p-53380-musical-fidelity-m1dac-a-digital-converter.aspx The USB route, as you describe, with attendant conversion would theoretically cause sonic degradation, would it not? The USB DAC input on the M1DAC supports up to 24/96. The digital coax input on the M1DAC, however, supports up to 24/192 and would be the ideal connection with the Touch, provided the Touch with Triode's EDO sends the FLAC file as purely pass-through without the Touch doing any digital conversions to it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ CaptBeyond's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=55448 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=94512 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
