Thats really strange! If you look at the output, then the correct sample rate is seen by the squeezeplay log, but the momentary frequency (which is what the dac sends back to touch is wrong!) If you log into touch and restart squeezeplay then you should be able to see the sample rate log from the alsa debug every time the sample rate is changed: /etc/init.d/squeezeplay restart This extra info is only send to the console which started squeezeplay so you don't see it in the normal log. I believe this is specific to your device... You could enable pcm playback only and then change the lookup table in Slim/Player/Squeezeplay.pm of the server to lie to squeezeplay about the sample rate. I don't see this as a long term solution, but it would validate that the rates are switched over rather than anything else.... I guess the other thing to say that with async usb, the absolute rate doesn't matter - its the fact that feedback means it adjusts which does - so perhaps the momentary frequency adjusts significantly if the rate is too high or too low? (normally you see it hovering around the desired rate being slightly too low and then slightly too high, but it could still work if it is really low and then really high - the critical thing is that the device selects the right local clock to use to clock out the data). ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Triode's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=94512 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
