My entire library is FLAC encoded and I've never played with the SOX settings in SBS so I presume that FLAC is natively decoded on the Touch. However, as LMSpresumably knows the Touch doesn't by default do more than 24/192, I was wondering whether SOX would be invoked and the file downsampled and passed through the Touch as 24/96. Also, if the PSA detects a 24/192 incoming stream shouldn't it automatically select 24/192 as its sampling scheme? I've not checked the manual but was under the impression the 24/96 and 24/192 buttons on the DAC are its upsampling options, not downsampling - I'd best download and read thje manual. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ audiomuze's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=33613 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=94512 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
