Part of the EDO patch function is to tell LMS/SBS that the device is capable of 192Khz playback (FLAC is required only at 192 right now). It should be automatic. As far as the upsampling setting, this is independent of the input frequency. If you send 44.1/48/96/192 data or whatever supported rate you want, the setting will never change automatically. It will upsample or downsample to that particular setting depending the source frequency and the setting on the button. So if you send 96Khz to the DAC, and have the setting set to 96Khz, you effectively have a NOS DAC, where the stream is reclocked, but not upsampled at all. Same thing goes for 192 input at the 192 setting.
