Actually I'm quite happy with my humble Touch based system. I was an early SB adopter and have converted many to it.
I’m most happy when I play random music and do things about the house. It allows me to listen to the music, not the system. But just like the people who own megabuck systems I inevitably end up on one of these forums and the tweaking starts over again. It's OK, it's part of the game. What I'm saying is that with the Oppo feeding my DAC, violin is sweeter, piano sounds meatier and muted trumpets are a little bit easier to listen to with the volume past 9 o'clock. Navigating the menu is another story and I still haven’t figured out how to select genres and play my music folder randomly…yet. So the Touch remains my go to source...for now. And yeah Pat Barber CafĂ© Blue sounds good no matter what.
