Thanks for your reply,

When using my DAC, the connection with my RCA or analog sound the best
as compared to using no DAC. When switching to either of the digital
sources the sound marginally improves as compared to having no DAC at
all. And you are correct, 'RCA to receiver AND digital to the DAC, which
is then rca to the receiver'.

Yes the volumes are equalized as I switch between analog to digital. The
sound presence, clarity, tone, etc are much better in analog vs
digital.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
