My recent Touch purchase was also interesting. My order was not from Amazon, I ordered it from a local Hungarian PC webshop. Their central store is located in Germany.
Actually everything looks as brand-new. The paper box was glued down with that round film on the edge. Then the inside black box also glued down. The remote , did have plastic film on the back, not on the front, but as I saw you Youtube unboxing videos, that's normal. The Touch itself had the blue film on the leg, then plastic film on the back, and the black plastic on the front display. The interesting thing was that it had 1 or 2 fingerprints on the display, was not from me, it was under the black plastic. Anyway I don't think it's used.
