I don't really understand what behavior you seek. If the two are synced then they will share a playlist and will be playing the same thing. Any playback-related command given to either one of them (i.e., skip track, etc.) input to either one will affect both of them. Whether or not power on/off and volume is synched is a separate option, but the meaning of "sync" is that at least their playback is synced. If they are not synced then they can maintain separate playlists and operate independently of one another. If you ever want to use the Touch independently of the SB3 (and have it not affect the SB3's playlist) you will need to un-sync the devices. Then you'll have to re-sync them when you want to tie them together again. When you establish a sync, you're saying "take this player (player A), and make it mimic the playback of this other player (player B)". In that case, player A's playlist would go away, and it would begin to play whatever player B is playing. Player B was the "master" at the time of establishing the sync insofar as player A lost its playlist and began playing whatever player B was playing, but once the sync is established there is no "master" player. Both players are peers. Any playlist-related input to either player will affect BOTH players equally. There are a couple of handy modules that give you some extra flexibility for syncing -- you should check them out: Synchronizer (http://www.koldware.net/SlimStuff/) Sync Options (http://www.tux.org/~peterw/slim/SyncOptions.html) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ azinck3's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3967 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=96773 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
