If your NAS is too slow to stream to two players at a time while they are synced, something is seriously wrong. The load doesn't get much bigger for that. It's a different story if you play different music on the two or the are not synced, especially if you need transcoding, but syncing should never be an issue for at least 4 players or so, no matter how slow your NAS is.
