it should work ? I *think* I had a similar problem once my port 3483 was open but not for broadcasts ,took a while to discover that the firewall settings in ClarkConnent linux was not realy what they suposed to be . I use some custom rules for the firewall nowadays I had to put a txt file in the stratup with some rules (not at home can't remember what I did ) . I do think you should have 3483 udp/tcp open I'm not sure something else depends on it too . I don't think this port can be completely blocked for a functioning server ? Why not try the system with it's recommended settings ? and then continue to fault trace if this does not work either . Another easy way is to set the Touch on fixed IP and allow all trafic from that IP trough the firewall , maybe a bit to lazy... I bet most IOS or Andriod apps will be bit cranky too , if this is not implemented . ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mnyb's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4143 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=96804 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
