Well, that was the point of the testing...

SDXC has high compatibility with SDHC, and it is the latter, with its
32GB limit, that is stated as supported by Logitech.  There would appear
to be good hardware compatibility between the two standards (both
forward and backward), and you should be able to use XC cards in HC
slots.  Clearly, I have seen this with my SbT, and the only real issue
was the format used on the card.  All SDXC cards come pre-formatted
using Microsoft's exFAT, which is unlikely to be supported by Logitech
as their OS used is, I believe, Linux; thus one has to reformat the card
to something acceptable.  I chose FAT32 for its simplicity and ubiquity,
and used the downloadable fat32format utility (donationware from
http://www.ridgecrop.demon.co.uk/index.htm?fat32format.htm).  

As it works flawlessly on my SbT, as indeed it should, I see no reason
why it should not work on others.  The risk of a FAT32 formatted SDXC
card not working in a SqueezeBox Touch, with up-to-date software and
drivers, is, to me, very low.
