I hit the forum this weekend to see if there was any discussion about SBT adding a video out in the future and of course read the news of its demise. I wanted to see if the video display capabilities would allow to be viewed externally. So now I am looking into other display alternatives. I have an app on my Android and the Squeezebox Beta app on my Mac, but both are not the quality I was looking for. I suppose I should just be lucky that the SB server is still up and running on my XP machine.
There are so many threads about what is going to happen to the future of the Touch and my original SB I gave up trying to figure out what I should be doing until there is official word. I am in the process of uploading all my CD's via Flac to access via the SB and SBT. There are so many gifted SB users on the forum that will undoubtedly keep the devices functioning for many years as long as there is a forum.
