Its difficult to be sure whether it will work with that dac. I had a quick look at the manual on their site, but there's no specific details of the usb support in the dac. If you want to ask them, you are looking for a usb audio class 1 or 2 device which is known to work with linux. Ideally it should work in asynchronous mode. The hub is needed if the dac is a 1.1 device as the the cpu chip used in the Touch does not have all the functions needed to support 1.1 usb.
