Once opened, apps stay open (even if they aren't visible) until you close them and they are still open after you have powered off the iPad and powered it on again. This puzzled me, as there is no obvious way to close an app. After Googling I learnt that you have to double press the home button which brings up the icons off all the open apps. You the have to touch one of the icons until it starts to wiggle, a small red 'close' marker then appears on the icon and you can touch it to close the app. I guess this must be what Apple folk think of as intuitive!
Mind you, I only got this new toy two days ago. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JohnB's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=31553 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97366 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
