I'm sure that Linux on the Tranquil would be a good solution, or at
least improve things, but I'm getting a bit long in the tooth to start
getting into "new" (to me) operating systems, especially for a little
box whose only function is to provide my music. I just can't be bothered
to start from scratch again! I don't ask very much of this server and
I'm perfectly happy with it in all respects apart from the "Music
Folders Issue". Funnily enough, the "old desktop" was very nearly the
music server but size, noise, energy demands and, most important, a wife
who didn't want yet another huge computer roaring away in her study. The
Tranquil is so close to being perfect for the job except for.....
