Ok, I understand. Here's the situation. I now have the Benchmark DAC(which is very nice... Thank you garym). The dac can go into standby mode if it does not receive a signal after 15 seconds or so. But, it's not going to sleep as its supposed to and I thought that it might be because the Touch is not fully "off" and a signal is still affecting the DAC and therefore not allowing the DAC to go into standby mode. ( I think this may be one of my "dumbest" posts....sorry).
On another note the BM DAC really does improve the sounds. I'm VERY happy with it.
