I just took delivery of a McIntosh D100 yesterday and started playing around with the EDO plugin this afternoon. The plugin seems to work great on optical, but I'm having problems with the USB output to the D100. What happens is that I get sound on and off in ~1 second intervals (the DAC actually loses sync during the off intervals). I don't need to have USB support ... I only tried USB output out of curiosity and to test the USB input of the D100. I've tried two old USB cables I had lying around, but based on a quick search, it seems that there are some slight differences in USB 1.1 vs. 2.0 cables that could impact the D100's ability to stay synced. I'm not really sure about this though. Any ideas?
