I've used my Touch for a couple years at home without problems. I'm on an extended stay away from home now and trying to use my touch with an external hard drive connected by USB, without internet or wifi. It works fine for about 5 minutes, then cuts out, as if it has lost the server. From what I've seen on the forum running Touch with USB hard drive connection is often problematic, but sometimes works. Can anyone tell me how to make this work -- I'm not very computer savvy so simplicity would be greatly appreciated. It does work well for a few mintues so maybe I'm close?
