Another way to do this is to install the LMS 'WaveInput' (http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/WaveInput_plugin) plugin and feed the iPhone output to your server PC line input similar to how you've done it with your Boom. Any source connected to that cable would then be available across your Squeezebox network. You inspired me to try it and -- after some fiddling with Control Panel sound devices -- it works fine on my WinXP server with LMS 7.7.2.
