I know someone earlier posted problems running the EDO firmware with the ASUS Xonar Essence One in USB mode running into problems.
Just tried this myself this AM and am finding that the EDO firmware is aware the E1 can do 44kHz to 192 kHz in asynch mode. But every time I play music, the sampling rate jumps around (as confirmed by the LED's) and never quite matches up! Playing 16/44 & 24/176 causes the E1 to play at 96kHz. Playing 24/44 & 24/96 makes the E1 go into 192kHz. Playing 24/192 kicks the E1 into 44kHz. As you can see, not one single match to allow proper playback. Anyone seeing such behaviour before? Any hints as to what could be tried to fix this?
