Yes.

Yes. You can 'synchronize' the two players and they will play the same
music. Playing the song on either one will play the music on both.

Yes. When the players are not synched, they can play independently. They
can play different tracks served by LMS, or internet streams, or any
combination. LMS has no problem serving music to several different
players simultaneously.

Either way. There's no pro/con one way or the other. It's just two
different ways of using the system.

I recommend not using the built-in server of the Touch. Running LMS on a
PC on your network works infinitely better.
