Tried it both running direct from PC with vista and Win7... no go, I even downloaded Foobar as Audio Gd suggests... no go. I do seriously feel now it must be the software/firmware of the DI-V3, I have found others in other forums that have this same problem, we cant all be doing the setup wrong, it should be a simple plug and play as the SBT uses Linux. As to why it is not playing files above 96Khz in SPDIF mode I think it is all related to the same issue. As I have been unable to put a lot of effort into this until now, I will try a few more avenues now I have time. But if I have no joy it can go back to Audio Gd as It does not do what is suppoed to do!
