I have just had a similar problem. I had an IP conflict between two
radios on my system (late night Saturday trying to add new radios).
Simple, reboot one with DHCP turned off on the router and manually enter
the IP address. Erm No...that would be the simple solution. I could log
onto the network but it would not see the server over ethernet or
wireless while everything else could. Oddly I couldn't change the SB
radio name either.
I had to reboot everything, router, server and the said radio to factory
settings. The menu factory setting for restoring didn't work. I had to
SSH in and type "reboot". Going back through the arduous of configuring
the radio, all was fine again.

The Touch & Radio system is briliiant when working but I would never
recommend to a non tech user. It's just too complicated to debug when
there are issues like adding another device. I wouldn't say they were
problems but I still struggle and have had to write it down on how to do
a complete reconfigure as I just forget within weeks...and still
consider myself youngish :).

Eventually all three radios, TOUCH and server are now on fixed IP
leaving a pool of DHCP for the phone, tablet and laptop as they leave
they house regularly.

The concept is brilliant as are the Harmony remote series of controls,
pity Logitech missed this by and I guess they will go back to selling
cheap mice, crap webcams and other tat. A bit like HMV missing the
digital music era.
