Yes, ground wire twisted with each signal wire until you get close to
the Buff, then all of the grounds together into the G input of the Buff.

the grounding and wiring scheme.

Short leads, as short as possible.  When it all works satisfactorily,
you can start screwing around with buffering and isolating, reclocking,
etc.
