I'm still confused between your experience and what Kingwa is saying. I emailed him again and his response: Dear Peter, The DI-V3 have built in the #10 default now, we have free a #9 for users who want to applied the I2S output only. Even the #10 can have I2S and SPDIF output, but it is limit at 24bit because the SPDIF limit. The #9 is 32bit.
