I upgraded to the current firmware, and when it failed to work with 24/96 mono ALAC files, I downgraded to the previous firmware, which works well, except that I now get messages encouraging me to upgrade to the firmware which I have found to be deficient.
I would like to know if there is a way to block these messages.
