Well I had a few problems after the update. Mostly related to the restarts that it required. It screwed up my network, I lost a load of plugins and had to reload them from scratch. Thanks to this forum it is now OK. :)
Triodes post were most helpful and it was his wonderful BBC iPlayer that went missing!:( I use 7.8 and it is very stable with my iMac.
