Does anyone have suggestions for unbricking my SB Touch?

If you're running LMS: shut it down. Restart, re-connect, try to play something different as quickly as possible.

If on mysb.com: disconnect. Wait 15 minutes, re-connect, try to play something different as quickly as possible.

Did you ever connect your LMS to test.mysqueezebox.com? mysb.com is updated in a way which should prevent the reboot - unless maybe if your player was synced to some "old" player (classic, receiver, transporter, boom). In this latter case shut down the other player before you follow above procedure.
