Yep... I'll probably stay with the "original" one I just wanted to find out if 1A would be possible - from technical point of view. Touch's USB slot won't be used; only ethernet and the spdif out will be in use.
I'm not a technician but my thinking is: watt can vary but ampere should be the same.
