watt(DC)=volt*ampere

You feed it 5v it -draws- the needed amps, voltage is nearly constant
(it will modulate some due to cable losses and not perfect regulation in
the psu ).

I have no insight in what draws power in the Touch I'm just guessing
that 3 amps is maximum, what it actually draws under certain
circumstances i've not measured and cheap things like a kill'awatt is
not good enough .

I could probably lug home equipment that could do it......
