IIRC Touch with EDO and external USB Dac with LMS 7.7.x can only play 192k in Flac format (not sure about other rates) so your server will have to transcode or possibly it may be resampling other formats and so it may be overloaded or necessary support conversion apps are broken. So you should find out what your server is actually doing using logging - probably by enabling player.source to INFO
