you might not realize that the TOUCH can be a player or a controller for another player. So you might have accidentally selected a different player for display on the touch. Go to "choose player" in your Touch menu (forget where this is, as I've moved this option to my main touch menu). Make sure you've chosen your TOUCH as the player.
