Hello I went through the process of converting the USB port on my Touch to a "out" instead of an "in" about 3 years ago, before there was an app. This was done by getting into the device and running command lines. It took me forever to get right. It never really worked that great and I kind of forgot about it. Now I want to use the touch as it was designed. I performed a hard reset as I thought this would return the device to factory settings. I now can hear tones when I go through the menu's but although it shows music is playing on the screen, I get no music. Any help on this would be appreciated.
