Thank you all for the feedback. The optical works great with everything else other than 192 (works with 24/96). I also checked the optical cable on the DAC end and can see the red light coming through, either with 24/192 content or other... I guess I will try to buy a different cable nonetheless..

Yes, I am not sure if the Nuforce Dac 9 or the Naim Dac-V1 play 192khz via optical - I will email the customer service to ask.
