I used nothing but Lexar 32GB cards when I first got my SBT. I never had any issues with skipping on Redbook or Hires files, but I unplugged mine when I was finished. I did notice a few times, if I left it running for weeks, that it would skip now and then. So you really have to baby the unit for it to work like that. Oh, and the sound quality wasn't nearly as good.
