That would be a shame! To be fair, the problems are across the board
(not just with SB) as the BBC rolls out its new Audio Factory system.
And actually, SB devices are able to cope with the changes better than
most. For example, radio functionality has completely vanished from the
BBC's TV version of iPlayer, and looks set never to return.

Back to your problem. As I understand it the BBC doesn't provide WMAs
where the updated BBCiPlayer plugin now looks, so it shouldn't be trying
play WMAs. Can you check the plugin setup in LMS and confirm that the
"On Demand Stream Preference" is set to "AAC>FlashAAC>FlashMP3>WMA"?
