If all those individual folders (HD music, itunes, etc.) are UNDERNEATH the parent folder "my music" then just copy the parent folder my music over to the new USB HDD. If not, then create a parent folder on the HDD (call it "music" or anything) then copy all those individual folders over to that location. p.s. You must have been otherwise occasionally copying your music folders to another drive (backup drive)??????? If not, you are living dangerously. One should always have (multiple) backups. If you didn't, then now's a good time to create the USB drive for your new laptop and get an extra USB HDD (or two) and copy the files there as well for backup purposes. *Home:* VortexBox 4TB (2.3) > LMS 7.8 > Transporter, Touch, Boom, Radio (all ethernet) *Cottage:* VBA 3TB (2.3) > LMS 7.8 > Touch > Benchmark DAC I, Boom, Radio w/Battery (all ethernet except Radio) *Office:* Win7(64) > LMS 7.9 > Squeezelite *Spares:* Touch(3), Radio(3), Boom, SB3, CONTROLLER *Controllers:* iPhone6 & iPadAir2 (iPeng8 & Squeezepad), CONTROLLER, or SqueezePlay 7.8 on Win7(64) laptop *Files:* ripping: dbpoweramp > FLAC; post-rip: mp3tag, PerfectTunes; Streaming: Spotify ------------------------------------------------------------------------ garym's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17325 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104441 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
