Hi, I have a squeezebox touch and it is testing my patience as are the many logitech log ins for various issues, I am also a huge technophobe, luddite and have nearly crushed my player and laptop today.
How do I update my firmware, I can not go through my problems, has taken 2 hours to get this far, i have version 7.7.3 but have seen mention of 7.8 or 7.9. Also does anyone have experience of squeeze ctrl app, does it work as the original stopped months ago, have tried orange squeeze and commander and neither worked for me. I mainly use my sbt for spotify through my hifi. I switched it on after being disconnected for a few months and i thought it had fixed itself as there was a new spotify interface. That was sunday, it worked fine yesterday and today said I need a firmware upgrade, could not connect to server and something else, after reloading software it still didn't work but then started working again fine , I had done nothing.
