I am going through mysqueezebox. com as you say, I will do the upgrade but why nightly, am I being stupid, or best to download overnight ? I only use the one wifi hop from sbt to the router, a cable would be more stable but I can not say I have experienced any issue, I use a new ish virgin modem. I do not use the laptop for controlling it. The version of spotify I use is the squeezebox version not the same native /pure spotify I have on my phone/laptop, unless the sbt has spotify connect as this would be great. I have been using today and it has been running fine. All my devices are android but 'old' nexus devices, the ones that don't get a marshmallow !
