Thanks for sharing the existance of similar problems. 'Here' (http://diyparadise.com/blogs/2010/05/08/opened-up-the-squeezebox-touch/) is a link to a disassembled Touch unit. There are two flex cables connecting the screen to the mainboard, but they're apparently fixed to the touchscreen, so any solution would involve changing the screen itself.
