Logitech remote control app still not working on new phone running android 5.0 (won't connect to server), but works fine on old phone (4.4) and tablet (4.4.4).
I was a beta tester for flatterman many years ago but frankly I'm not interested in installing Commander with no recent updates and won't even answer emails. So from all the searches here, other forums and Play store it appears Squeeze Ctrl and Orange Squeeze have the best reviews AND are currently supported--including compatibility up to android 6.0. I bought both and Orange excelled in being intuitive, familiar, and fast at accessing my library (~.6T audio files). SC felt awkward in my short test and I found myself spending too much time searching for functions that should be obvious--like how to Play an entire album. Never found that trick...while Orange works the same as the Logitech app. For me Orange Squeeze is a winner.
