On reflection and with a bit of experimentation... I realize now that the plugins folder I had dropped the DENON folder into was /mnt/mmcblk0p2/tce/slimserver/Cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins, and that was where the folder kept disappearing from upon second restart. The plugin worked after first restart. Am now confused about where to drop it. Have looked for /usr/local/slimserver/Plugins but the plugins folder didn't exist, so I created it, dropped the folder in, and it still doesn't show up in the plugins list in LMS gui, or work. Have also tried dropping it into the cache folder, no luck.
