I am getting a couple of error messages in the server.log, none of which mean anything to me! A recent excerpt below:
[17-08-03 16:57:12.2961] Slim::Formats::Playlists::Base::_filehandleFromNameOrString (86) Error: Could't open /mnt/media/Music/LMS playlists/SyncOptions-Lounge Touch-00_04_20_23_db_49.m3u for writing.
That's a permissions issue on your playlists folder. LMS can't write to it.
[17-08-03 16:57:13.1844] Slim::Control::Request::notify (2060) Error: Failed notify: Not a HASH reference at /usr/local/slimserver/Cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/SyncOptions/Plugin.pm line 628.
The SyncOptions plugin is expecting a hash reference where it doesn't get one. Probably a follow up issue to the above failure.
But no sign of the Denon plugin. Did you try to install it within that log snippet? If not, please enable debug logging for server.plugins and plugin.extensions in LMS Settings/Advanced/Logging, make sure you check the "keep settings for reboot" (or similar) on that same page, then restart LMS. Then extract the plugin file to the Plugins folder and restart LMS. Anything in the server.log now?
