Ok, am I missing something? I have a Squeezebox Touch and would like to
install an Android app on my phone to control the Squeezebox Touch
only.
My friend has the old Logitech app on his iPad and works great. I've
tried Squeezer and Squeeze Controller by Lars Kamp and both of these
apps ask me for the server. What server? I'm NOT running a squeezebox
server, just the Touch. I only want to control the Touch, like I can do
with the remote. My Touch is on and on the same network as the Samsung
S5 that I am trying to run the app on. Both Squeezer and Squeeze
Controller say that they can control players (I assume the Touch is a
player) as well as servers. What am I doing wrong? Do I need some bogus
Squeezebox server running in order to run the player remote part of the
app? Can I somehow turn off the need for a server or use some generic
server?

Also, I tried downloading the original remote app Squeezebox-5.apk from
the slimdevices download section. I can install it on my Samsung 5 but
when I run it it just sits on a boot screen that says Free Your Music.
Is the Samsung S5 incompatable?

I love my SBT but need a remote with a screen as I'm setting up the SBT
to a new audio system in my office and using the included remote I can't
see the SBT screen from across the room.

Thanks, Mike D.
