It helps to fully understand the CD to FLAC process, and EAC is really
good because it tells you what's going on in the process, step by step.
What happens when you click on the CMP button is that EAC rips the
content to WAV, then applies the compression defined in this section
below.
The compression could be anything you want to use.
In this case the settings you see are default for EAC using FLAC - note
that EAC contains the FLAC compression engine in one of its folders.
