good news! thanks for all of the very helpful responses! it's so effing simple.. the batch that i had trouble with, about 20, i ripped them all at the same time, while i was working. my theory, based on vast experience;), is that my pc might have been to hot and the rom was probably at its limits..it's 9 years old! so now, if i rip 1 at a time. it works. sorry i didnt figure that out earlier..thanks again
