Yes, you have it about right. However I wouldn't get too exited about it, the Touch's server is ok if you give a player a track or an album to play and let it get on with it. If you start flicking through the menus, starting & stopping tracks, ect., the server will eventually crash, and you will need to re-scan the library, not a very good UX. OTOH, (not sure why I'm typing this), but did you know that any of the Squeezeboxes on your local network can play the music files on the Touch's attached USB/SD card.
